The Fourthtrack Systems range of interface converters and fibre optic extension products is designed to fulfil all of your G.703 connectivity requirements. All standalone products are equipped with both twin coax (75 ohm, unbalanced) and RJ48C (120 ohm, balanced) G.703 interfaces and are rugged in design.
To convert from an unstructured E1 2.048Mbps circuit presented as twin coax or RJ48C to a device with an X.21 or V.35 interface chose the MicroMux G.703. Typically used in conjunction with a low-cost router with an X.21 or V.35 interface, this solution is usually far more cost-effective than buying a high-end router with a native G.703 interface.
To convert from a structured FE1 2.048Mbps circuit presented as twin coax or RJ48C to a device with an X.21 or V.35 interface chose the MicroMux G.704. This product can operate from 64Kbps up to 2.048Mbps (Nx64) so is ideal in applications where a ‘throttled’ down G.703/4 service is utilised e.g. 1.024Mbps.
For high density rackmount card versions of the MicroMux G.703 and MicroMux G.704 please take a look at the FourthRack Chassis and G.703 & G.704 Line Cards, with optional management.
If you need to extend a G.703/4 circuit fibre optic cable is the most secure option. The EasiLink G.703 is ideal for cross-campus G.703 circuit extension over fibre and can operate at distances up to 30km. Also perfect for applications where two pieces of communications equipment with G.703 interfaces in different locations need to be interconnected e.g. PBX to PBX.
